91% of Japanese Users Would Not Buy 3G iPhone

By Wayne

ISHARE from the survey data show that 91 percent of Japan's mobile phone users have no plans to buy Apple's iPhone cell phone.

Japan's Softbank Mobile had planned to launch in Japan, and the main customers are from 20-49 ages. But the current situation seems to be worse, only 8.9 percent persons stated to buy one, 6.2 percent were willing to master it as a first phone, and only 2.7 percent think that iPhone would be their second phone.

In July 2007, iSHARE conducted a survey on that iPhone of slightly better than the current survey results, 9.6 percent persons would like to buy one.

According to survey it shows that 77.1 percent persons think that replaceable phone battery was a must, which is the reason why the strange phenomenon is happening in the Japanese market. More for the Japanese have been used to the traditional cell phones, such as Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, and so on.
